The Device are Plug-n-play, rugged and easy to install on din rail mount or on base plate. The NMEA buffer cum splitter is one of such solution specially design for marine OEMs & marine service engineers to address to prac-tical issues encountered white interfacing - " One Talker Multi Listeners " scenario. The device not only buffers the input NMEA 0183 serial data but split into eight output with e-lectrical isolation so that any failure due to short circuit or wrong polarity on one chann-el. Additionally, the device also has dip swi-tch selectable input for both RS422-RS232. This is very useful to carter for some of the older devices on board ship which has only RS232 interface a available.
